Our Pastor: Garrett Johnston, his wife DeAnna, and their daughters, Courtney, Hailey and Sydney.
Pastor Garrett Johnston was born in New Town, Ct and Raised in Westbrook, Maine where he graduated as valedictorian from Grace Baptist Christian Academy. He went to Liberty University intending to pursue a career in Business. It was at LU that Garrett felt the Lord calling him to full time ministry. After finishing the year at LU, Garrett transferred to Baptist Bible College East and graduated in1989.
He married DeAnna Bimpson in 1987, and a month later God led them to accept the Youth Pastor / Associate Pastor Position at First Baptist Church in East Longmeadow, Massachusetts . After 24 years of ministry at First Baptist Church, and with much prayer and the Lords leading, Garrett and His family have made the transition to LBC in April of 2011.
